Urea Melamine Formaldehyde (UMF) combines the properties from urea formaldehyde and melamine
formaldehyde polymers with optimum performance. High resistance to water minimizes water
absorption in compact boards.
Also, because of low formaldehyde emission it is compatible with E1 European standard. Powdered
urea melamine formaldehyde adhesive is preferred to liquid adhesive where production runs are
infrequent and longer storage life is needed.
